In this work, we present a new medium access control (MAC) scheme integrating physical channels into multiband carrier sense multiple access/collision avoidance (CSMA/CA) for orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) systems.The proposed MAC discusses a new communication protocol derived from the classical CSMA / CA using techniques known by RTS / CTS. We propose a new method to significantly improve the transmission capacity. The main idea is to consider an asynchronous frequency multiplexing of RTS messages. This method allows improving performance in terms of throughput and latency. This proposal is particularly interesting in crowded networks.
